Come join Kathy Earhart on Saturday mornings for Mira & PraiseMoves!

This class is offered every Saturday from  9:30-10:50am beginning March 5th.

Mira is a blend of aerobic exercise, simple Latin dance steps, and muscle toning while PraiseMoves is a Christian alternative to Yoga which strengthens, tones, and de-stresses. Exercise your body, mind and spirit with a certified instructor!

Here is what the instructor, Kathy, would like you to know:

“Dance and exercise have been a passion most of my life, and since becoming a Christ follower, my desire to glorify God can be expressed through movement with MIRA and PraiseMoves! MIRA means “LOOK” in Spanish and it is Christian fitness with a latin beat. The foundation scripture is “LOOK to Me and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am God and there is no other” (Isaiah 45:22) PraiseMoves is the Christian Alternative to Yoga. While yoga, being hindu based, focuses on clearing one’s mind, PraiseMoves focuses on filling your mind with God’s Word. The foundation scripture is “For you were bought at a price, therefore, glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s” (I Corinthians 6:20)

The physical benefits of MIRA and PraiseMoves are many: assists in weight loss, improves flexibility, strengthening muscles, improves circulation, alleviates stress, help injuries to heal, improves coordination and agility, helps keep tissues healthier (stretching encourages the release of tissue lubricants),and the spiritual benefits are meditating on scripture while stretching.

My vision is to encourage women to enjoy exercise while strengthening their spiritual well being.”
